I am SO pumped for MLB (& OOTP 19)

Hello everybody!

I haven't been on for quite a long while, but as usual, spring training has got me fired up for major league baseball to come back. I put in my preorder for OOTP 19 today and then I was so excited that I started a new game in OOTP 18 with an inaugural draft and streamed all that on Twitch.tv.

The stream is over but I'm so happy with my fresh lineup that I can't wait to dive right in and finish the rest of the preseason and start duking it out in the American League East with my beloved Orioles.

What are the rest of you guys doing to try to pass the time until opening day (not to mention early release day for the game!)?

I'm "clearing the decks" of my other game-playing responsibilities so as to devote my full attention to OOTPB 19 when it comes out. I bet you didn't know that a person could have game-playing responsibilities, eh?

I have been re-reading some of my books on baseball, reading the OOTP 19 forums and checking Baltimorebaseball.com every day for the latest.

Also, I'm pacing myself in my current 2017 MLB game (after some fits and starts), which is now in 2019 about 12 to 15 games past the All-Star break. I play-out all of my games. I heard it’s best to convert during the off-season.

Last year was the first time I tried the standard MLB Start. And I used these settings for the first time as well: No “Stars”, 20 to 80 ratings, trading difficulty very hard (I think), favor prospects; with all the “Major baseball” countries. It was awesome!

So now for the first time, once OOTP19 comes-out, I will have 2 MLB saves, because I plan to start a new one (as the Orioles), for the 2018 season with the same settings.
