1 noob

To all the vets on the forum:

I've been reading the posts on tusso/jblaze/and1bballer...

For anyone without the patience, even if these 3 names were different people, leagues they run aren't the best place for first timers to learn...

On behalf of newbies and those who don't post, i'd like to thank the vets for keeping such a close eye on things like this, and helping people like me avoid potential futre headaches!

Chili,

These guys would be welcomed with open arms IF they'd conduct themselves in an 'above board' manner.

Since they won't, we who have been around here for an extended period of time, feel it is our responsibility to make sure newbs have the same enjoyable experience that we were afforded some time ago.

To all the newbs: You're welcome and remember that if we come across as total a$$holes to these scoundrels, we're not that way to 'normal' people.

Chili - you might consider the Northern Midwest League if you are interested in a league that will be friendly and welcoming to newbies. I've had only good experiences there - everyone is very friendly and I think there are a number of owners that aren't that experienced. Now if I can just get my team to finish over .500........

Link to NML homepage

Good luck with whatever league you decide to join!

i've already found a league, but thanks.

I've been amazed at how many people jump at the opportunity to help newcomers here... Maybe i was just playing the wrong games until now.
