Can't Reload a Saved Game

I misclicked on a trade, so I want to go back to my save (not backup) from four days ago to redo it. When I click on the the saved game, it just loads the current day. I switched to commissioner mode, and it does the same. Other than using commissioner to force the trade that was supposed to happen, other ideas?

only way to go back is from a back-up. your saved game is only the last time you exited the game, or manually told it to save.
if you don't have a back-up or don't want to use it, the only other option i know is to go thru the commish mode and change the trade with the "force" function on the trade menu.

Thanks; I knew how to load from backup, but I suppose that would also involve replaying those few days worth of games. I used commish mode to force the trade and even gave them an additional prospect for my mistake.

i've accidentally clicked things before, we all do. fixing with comissioner mode isn't a sin

i accidentally didn't sign 1/2 my mil fa's. accidentally left "all batter" or pitchers on and didn't notice until jan 1 when i move the MiL filler around.

i let the higher potentials go, but i definitely went in to my transactions screen for november? and fixed it. i wasn't replaying anything over something inconsequential. i probably lost more players than normal. alot of the ~meh (sub30/80 pot?) mil players will take mil contracts. erred on 'greatest good' perspective

i've promoted ~20 players to the wrong league... i've accidentally given seomone a 40-man spot instead of a AAA promotion etc... lol. think i've even accidentally retired, delted and released a player too. chalk it up to technical difficulties.
