New Schedules: 162 games 30 Teams 2 Sub-Leagues with IL

These are new 162 games schedules for 30 teams in 2 Sub-Leagues, each Sub-Leagues with 3 divisions of 5 teams.

Every team plays 14 games against the 4 division rivals (4-3//4-3), 6 games against the other 10 teams of the sub-league (3//3), 3 games against 14 teams of the other sub-league and 4 games against 1 team of the other league in the parental division (2//2).

The season span over 26 weeks including the all-star break. Days off are either Mondays or Thursdays.

I could not fit division rivals playing each other in September but the second part of the season (After the All-Star break) is well loaded with intra-division games. I could not also fit most of the intra-division games during weekends. It is not perfect but after spending lot of time on this, I was pretty satisfied.

To make sure that each team plays 4 games against each parental division rivals, I made 5 Schedules. To balance the home and away series in Intra-League, I made 5 mirror image Schedules of the first 5.

I randomized the 10 Schedules in the end.

This schedule looks great, Thanks for the hard work.

Mega awesome. I hadn't logged in since Christmas, instead thrashing away in an Excel spreadsheet manually moving blocks of games around to the point of driving myself mad. I might revisit my effort later, but I'm gonna fire up this set of schedules in my MLB Fantasy league and run several sims to see how well it balances out.
I am thrilled that someone who knows what they are doing in scheduling made this terrific set of schedules.

FYI, I started working from the back forward, basically, scheduling the last month first in order to guarantee the divisional rivalry games coming down to the wire, but then I started getting hung up on some of the travel ramifications, although I should have ignored this altogether for my starting effort, since the game's sim wouldn't factor any of that into players/teams performances, and my primary aim was just to balance the competition that each team faced during the year.

Downloading & leaving now to try these out.
THANK YOU THANK YOU Kirby Paquette, can't wait to try these any longer.

Bumping this, because it looks to be very close to the 2023 schedule, if not exact.

Yeah, this does seem to be the MLB schedule starting in 2023 with the one difference that this one rotates the "rivalry" inter-league series throughout the matching divisions.

I'd love to see teams to play their 4 division rivals 18 times each. (9 games at home, 9 away) This gives you 72 games in division. Then teams could play every other team in their respective league 6 times (3 home, 3 away). That gives you 60 more games. Next choose one of the divisions in the other league to play each year, and rotate every three years. This would be 6 games against each team (3 home, 3 away) for 30 more games and a total of 162.

Easy. This gives you a very good bulk of games against your own division, followed by a healthy amount of games in the same league, and a handful of games form the other league.

I TRULY appreciate the time people put into making this game/sim soooooo realistic.
Should you ever be in the Buffalo/Niagara area, contact me and I'll tell you where the best places for wings are located.

This is peak sarcasm.

I'm not one to understand sarcasm, and I don't get the point of playing one division twice instead of two divisions once, but it's been done.

And yes, having everything be a three-game series is a pain.

With these schedules, do I need to manual select a different one each season? Or does the game rotate between the 10 schedules every year? This would be my first time using a schedule mod, so I wanted to be sure I was setting it up correctly.
