Can you do this?

If you're in commissioner mode, is there a way to force a team (not your own) to play a player in a particular position?

Have you tried using "set game strategy" and then "force start/use at position"?

There is no "set game strategy" for players on other teams, only for the team I'm GM of, even though I'm in Commissioner mode.

You can go to the team screen, click on strategy, click on player strategy, and drag the player below it.

You have to be GM in charge of the team. Doing it in Commish mode or Acting as doesn't matter. As soon as the AI is in charge again it will revert back to what it had set previously.

You cannot control a team you are not in charge of.

Good to know. I don't tend to control other teams at all, but knowing this renders my above strategy worthless unless you control every team in the league (or at least the team with the player you want to force).
