Pitching Ratings for Batters?
I noticed last night that on the player profile page for pitchers, the far right of the screen shows batting ratings. That makes sense as they may be useful for non-DH leagues.
What I found when drafting players (especially in later rounds) is that there are quite a few batters that have decent pitch ratings (at least to be a potential reliever) and horrible batting ratings. In order to find this information however you need to open the player profile and then navigate to the ratings tab. An extra click is not a huge deal except if you are doing this for 20+ players for every round of the draft beyond round 10. I like the idea of being able to 'hit' on either a hitter or pitcher with a single draft pick so this is useful information to me. Is there an easier way to find out this info that I am missing? Can I apply a batter filter and then sort by pitch ratings on the draft screen? I know putting pitching ratings on the batter profile would really clog up that screen as batters typically have more extensive fielding ratings that occupy that space. |

If you want to find pitchers that can hit, show all players and batting potential ratings. I've drafted many players with far more potential as pitchers than as position players.
