Noobie Fictional League (1901) Setup Questions

I’m setting up my first fictional league and I have somequestions.

My league consists of two divisions with six teams in eachdivision. I also have a AAA, AA,College, and High School leagues all set up the same way (2 divisions / 6 teamsper). My starting year will be 1901.

Settings
Standard Settings - 1902
Inaugural Draft
132 game season
Scouting accuracy – Normal

Questions
  • If my league eventually expands, I have theability to add minor leagues at anytime?
  • If I enable the “reverse-clause”, can I disableit at a later date (i.e. 1975)?
  • If I disable “salary arbitration”, can I enableit at a later date (i.e. 1970)?
  • Any other advice for 1901 league settings?

I’m sure I’ll have more questions as I move ahead.

Thanks

Also do you have era appropriate jerseys and logos? tx ranger has many and i have a few depending on your team names.

1. You can add minor league teams at any point, except during the league's regular season/postseason. If the major league expands at a point in which minor league teams can be added, the expansion teams will automatically receive minor league affiliates. My recommendation in the reserve-clause era is to expand on January 1; for the free-agency era, expand on the date free agents file.
2. Yes, and it's spelled "reserve clause".
3. Yes.
4. The biggest advice I have to give you is something that most fictional-historical players overlook: the affiliated minor leagues should not have a divisional structure. All 12 teams should be in one division, and playoffs should be disabled, in order to end the minor league season earlier. This also helps with expansion, because you won't need to realign the minors.
