player file error/crashing constantly now, how do I fix this?

I get that player file error and can't continue my season, but now when i try to play the game I constantly get an illegal opperation and it crashes on me.

i have reinstalled, I have reinstalled the patch, I have reinstalled my roster set, samething over and over, it crashes.

I saw someone else post this but no one replied with a fix.

How does one get around this to continue playing a new season?

And will this be fixed soon? No fun playing afew seasons and then having an error that will not allow you to continue.

Have you reinstalled to a different directory?

No, will try that now.

One thing new though. I installed the schedule that queensryche put on here. I got the original roster set to work ( fictional roster set) But whenever I try to get my downloaded set to work I get invalid player file. Any idea's on how to fix that? I changed the name of the set, but its the only one baseball simcentral has for ootp5 right now.

Not sure, what I would suggest is trying to get the game working first. Then the roster set. The league you had been running maybe a lost cause however(don't know for sure though).

My guess is the invalid player file was resulting from me trying to load an ootp4 roster set by accident

I am good now, got the game running again, thanks for the help Steve, is appreciated
