Challenge Mode Trades

I am curious if trading in challenge mode is, well, a challenge for everyone? It seems like teams value guys a little too high.

Here are a few examples:

DJ LeMahieu - Two Stars .- NYY -- Trading Block - $13 million salary
Offered Justin Turn, 1 and a half stars. Similar salaries - $9 million salary

Yankees GM says offer more. Press Make it Work and they want either Sale, Machado, or another 5-star All-Star.

I've got a ton more just like this. Highly unrealistic offers, for instances:
Tampa Bay offers Jay Bruce for Chris Sale

Is this normal? Is there a way to fix this in Challenge Mode so the game is a bit more fun to play?

I hate to be that guy...but it is called Challenge Mode. It's not supposed to be fun. It's supposed to force you to find creative ways to add players.

I don't disagree that some trade requests are ridiculous, but it should be more challenging than a regular playthrough.

There are ways to make the game very easy if thats what you want.

Put everything on easy, you're a happy man

I don't want easy. I want a bit more realistic. I don't want stupid trade offers that make no sense.

With the DJ LeMahieu, they could be looking for a salary dump and not a clontract for contract. Also the game doesn't recognize the real players as we would it sees them as numbers.

just because the first AI reaction is that it wants Sale, doesnt mean you have to give Sale to make it work.

add another piece, maybe a prospect, and see how it goes now.

You can put players on the do not touch list. right click trade options? I do that for players that i never want someone to offer me a trade for like Chris Sale. Also I find filling out the Team Needs thing is handy for finding tradable players.
