Waiver Wire Alerts

After every game in a typical MLB setup I check the waivers for gems that would fit well with my team. It's kind of become the default home screen when playing out the regular season. I know on the manager home screen there is a window that has, "The following interesting players are on the waiver wire: x, y, z" but what the game thinks is interesting and what I think is interesting may not be the same.

Suggestion
Somewhat similar to the news subscription alerts - allow a human manager to set up a custom alert based on a number of different player attributes (overall ability, potential ability, contact, stuff, etc...typical filter stuff) that interrupts the sim to send an alert and inbox message about a player that fits the set criteria for a player on the waiver wire. This would especially aid players that like to sim 1 week or more at a time so they can sim at a brisk pace without sacrificing waiver players.

Online leagues typically work around this by setting waivers to 8 days when they sim a week at a time and that makes sense, but I would hate changing league rules for a solo game if I want them to remain for the sake of realism. It also gets a little tedious and repetitive to constantly shuffle between the waiver screens and other screens which may be more engaging.

100% agree with this. It gets tedious looking at the waiver wire every day, so inevitably I end up missing potential diamonds in the rough.
