I noticed for the first time tonight in the play-by-play that a player went "down swinging- like Sonny Liston".... which mirrors the last line of "Swingin'," from the recently-departed Tom Petty's criminally-underrated Echo album. Well played, gentlemen...

I had noticed this a long time ago and decided it must be a coincidence.

Either way, a good line, a really good song, and as you mention, an excellent LP.

If there's a Petty fan in the pbp mix (likely pstrickert), then certainly a belated, though bittersweet "kudos" is needed.
