Home & Away Doubleheader?

First series coming out of the All-Star break and I see I'm playing a 4 game set with Houston. Then I noticed that game 1 is in Detroit but games 2-4 are in Houston. That would be strange but not unheard of except for the fact that games 1 & 2 are scheduled on the same day.

Sometimes comes up when the AI schedules makeup games due to rained out games.

It's a limitation of OOTP's financial engine (from what I understand). Clubs need to have their full slate of home games, and thus you end up with the sort of thing you see.

Though it should be noted that, since 2007, effectively the same thing can happen in MLB, with the difference being, using your example, the first game would be played in Houston (not Detroit), but Houston would bat first in that game, acting as if it was the visiting team even though it's playing in its own park.

Well, what year is your league in? Seems plausible this would not be a problem in 2040 or so, maybe the game is actually spot on :-)
