Question

I like to play 1 season at a time dont like going into the future I also like the pitching era's before the juice ball. Is there a way I can play say a recent season using 70's stats will it work that way?

Yes, you will need to change the year that determines the league totals. League totals are in the options somewhere.

during game creation you can create a template.

then, you can re-use that template each time you want to start year 1... or make slight changes over time etc...

you can make a template after game creation too, however, it will always contain those same players.

one other thought, you can alwys just "retire" sim forward ~30+ years for afull league turnover and take over a completely new team and league for year 1.

I tried to play a 1978 season using 1968 stats because I like the very strong pitching Eras and want the games to be low scoring so i changed it so it would use 1968 stats for the 78 season however when I saved the game and went back to the AI/Stats section where I changed it Noticed it put back the 1978 stats. Was there something else i was supposed to do to get it to stick?
