Stat Exporter (Pierre?)

Anybody know if Pierre will be releasing his CSV Exporter for use in OOTP5?

I searched the message boards, but only found fragmented info.

Commish Joe's CSV exporter for OOTP5 is on version 1.3. Dunno if that helps you. I haven't a clue about Pierre doing one for OOTP5.

I think working on a duplicate utility that already exist is a waste of time, and I think Joe did a great job with his exporter. Why making competition with him.

Indeed Joe did, it's a great utility and makes creating a Cato History Report pitiful easy.

Does the new exporter create all the info needed to continue using Cato's utility in OOTP5. If so that is great news.

Gents - I am having difficulty. My export files contain hundreds of player Num's that are '0'. Every once in a while there is a number that looks like a player Num, but the vast majority is zero.

And the results aren't legit either. Ex - Player Num 259 had 2133 At bats in June!

I imported my players from Lahman, but not sure if that makes a difference. Any ideas?

Also - it is a 'custom' lahman DB. Not a direct import from the existing lahman 5.0. It is in lahman 5.0 format though.

Version 1.3 of the exporter is for OOTP4, that's why you're getting the screwed up data. There is a version 5 for OOTP5. You can find it at www.trueleaguebaseball.com. Well, I think it's there...I was just looking and couldn't find it. Maybe Joe can chime in and point it out.

As for my program, I'm working on updating it to work with OOTP5 and Exporter v5. Just gotta find the time to finish it up.
