game freezes right before offseason starts

Hi- I've only had this problem with this league, no others. Every time the playoffs end, it freezes right before it goes into the offseason and won't proceed. I've tried a bunch of different things- relinquishing control of a team, going into real-time sim mode, saving as a quickstart and starting a new game from that, changing to a different league within the universe- but unfortunately nothing seems to work. Any ideas? League file is "Spira 6". Thanks...

Hi, where did you upload your files to? I don't see them on our ftp server here: ftp://ootpsupport.com/incoming/ootp/saved_games/. You can also upload to my dropbox here if the ftp site is not working (https://www.dropbox.com/request/yRxTitawf2CVGb371QSa).

As for the issue, how long did you leave it going into the off-season? Sometimes it can take a long time if the game has a lot of calculations to get done, so you do want to be sure to give it enough time. There may be an issue, so if you can get us those files, we can investigate further.

Thanks- uploading to your dropbox now- I couldn't get the ftp server to accept it this morning for some reason, or to upload the file to a support ticket for that matter- probably some internet issue on my end.

I left it running for an hour once and for 15 minutes or so a couple other times. I've simmed 100 years prior to taking over a team this year and didn't have a problem until this offseason. It's the first time I've ever encountered this problem.

Thanks for taking a look- if there's no obvious fix, I'll just go back to a year ago and try playing the season out again.

It looks like for some reason, your HOF reveal date in the league got corrupted. So when we progress to the off-season there's a problem in the code that causes us to hang while trying to set that date. If you go to the game setup page and simply change that date before advancing to the off-season, that should reset it and then you should be able to move forward. Apologies for the error.

With the new release out today, we all put in a little extra time on the weekend to see if this was something that needed fixing before the release. Thankfully there was a simple workaround to handle it
