Organize 40 Man Roster

Good afternoon,

I attempted to use the search to find an answer, and I can't seem to find it - I apologize if it's been answered previously.

If I ask the AI to set up complete organization, lineups, etc. - or if I allow my assistant GM to manage the 40 man roster, they continuously DFA and waive players from the 40 man, not backfilling them.

I then end up with 25-30 people on the 40 man roster, and much of my players being claimed by other organizations through irrevocable waivers.

If this is an attended consequence - and I've never seen it before (been playing for years) - what did I do to cause it and how can I undo it? It's driving me nuts!

Thank you!

I'll look into this over the weekend, if you don't have a response before then, but I'll say this is the very reason I avoid using that 'click.' I've forgotten how it handles that operation and then, wham!, lose players I hadn't intended on the waiver wire. I'll also add that, in the long run, most of the players weren't as promising as I'd imagined. It doesn't matter though, it seems awfully aggressive. I'd like to know more about what it has in mind when conducting it. I 'think' it fills all the rosters and lineups across the organization as a priority, letting the chips fall where they may.

Anyway, I'll see what I can find out, but it won't be soon. Sorry.

Sure. I received a request I'll pass on to you, in case your time becomes more available than mine. If you have it and need help with what to do with it, let me know and we'll figure it out together.

If you have a sample situation of a guy who obviously should not be (waived or) DFA-ed, having a save file from right before hitting the button is ideal

Having an undo option for any player put of waivers by the AI would help.

Or having the AI send a "personal message" stating that it recommends putting the following players on waivers, but making the player actually do that.

If you have not put these in the suggestions thread I recommend you do. I will second if I see these ideas there.
