HELP Custom League Question!!!

Hey guys, I created a custom league modeled completely after MLB, just with different team names, and fake players. My owner keeps signing players to extensions even though I don't want to, using up my funds!! Is there anyway to disable this so that I have complete control over extensions and free agent signings?

Last "season" he spend 1/2 of my free agent money on a starter I didn't want to sign, and this year he overspent extending a reliever!

Did you give yourself General Manager duties when you created the game? Also, you may want to check your manager settings and set control of everything to yourself and not the AI.
