OOTP5 - Major League Boneheads
Remember Little Baseball League? Well Major League Boneheads is the grown up version of LBL.
Every season of MLB 3 OOTP created players will enter the ammy pool. Player creation works the same as LBL with a couple twists. 1. Instead of 7 points you now get 9 points to allocate. 2. You can now edit the TALENTS of players not just the ratings. 3. You start at age 18 (or older) and play until you retire. Player Creation First Name: Last Name: Nickname: (.400 board name) Number: Origin: Birth date: Age to start: Height: Weight: Bats: L/R/S Throws: L/R Position: (only 1 position w/ your first player) Pitchers 9 points to allocate *All ratings start at 5 or C and talents start at average (you can use the points wherever and however you like and you can use more than 1 point on any rating / talent) -Duration -Holding BR -Groundball % (goes up by 10% per point) -Avoiding hits vsL & vsR & TALENT -Avoiding doubles vsL & vsR & TALENT -Avoiding homeruns vsL & vsR & TALENT -Avoiding bb's vsL & vsR & TALENT -Getting K's vsL & vsR & TALENT -Velocity EDIT -Hit batters, Wild pitches and balks will be random *All pitchers are 2-4 pitch pitchers (pick 2-4 they do not cost any points) Fastball Changeup Curveball Slider Screwball Sinker Splitfinger Knuckleball Players 9 points to allocate *All ratings start at 5 or C and talents start at average (you can use the points wherever and however you like and you can use more than 1 point on any rating / talent) Arm (only C or OF) Defence Speed Batting Avg. vsL & vsR & TALENT Doubles vsL & vsR & TALENT Triples vsL & vsR & TALENT Homeruns vsL & vsR & TALENT Drawing BB's vsL & vsR & TALENT Avoiding K's vsL & vsR & TALENT Examples Pitcher Duration 1 Hits TALENT 2 Hits vsR 1 Hits vsL 1 HR's TALENT 1 HR's vsR 1 K's vsL 1 K's vsR 1 Fastball / Curve / Knuckle (pitches are free maximum 4 pitches) Player Speed 1 Avg. TALENT 2 Batting Avg. vsL 1 Batting Avg. vsR 2 Homerun TALENT 2 Avoiding K's vsL 1 NO NEGATIVE POINTS You may only have 1 player in MLB at one time. Once your guy retires... you can make a new player 2nd player can have 2 positions... 3rd can have 3 positions.. etc.. If your second player is a pitcher.. he can be rated at SP and MR Major League Boneheads EDIT: Only 3 created players will be added per season to make it move a little quicker. Kurtis
