complete games - visibility

Renewing my call to have Complete Games shown on any multi-stat report or panel, and it should go right next to Games Started. Basically, anywhere you see the GS stat - along with other basic stats such as W, L, IP, ERA, K, BB... - you should also see CG. True, the CG stat doesn't mean much in today's game, but for us historical simmers who sim eras when CG's was an indicator of supreme ace-ness, it would be nice to not have to hunt for the CG's of Koufax, Drysale, Gibson, Feller, Ford, etc... Seems like this should be a no-brainer... And yes, I can customize some of these screens/reports, but not all. And for those that you can customize, it's a hassle, and I don't believe those carry over from game to game. Having OOTP simply recognize the importance of this stat would be the better way to go...

Check out just about any site where you can find historical stats - retrosheet.org, baseballreference.com, espn.com, thebaseballcube.com, baseball-almanac.com. They all treat Complete Games as an important enough stat to be shown on the same page/panel as the other most-common pitching stats. OOTP should follow suit.

good point. hadn't thought of it before. of course, in this day and age, complete games aren't happening too often. yes, i'd like to see it implemented.

Agree with the OP - I always customize my views to include it, but having it as a default would be vn.

Just to bump this... It's worth noting that if go to your [League Name] dropdown and select Statistics and then choose Pitching Leaders, you'll get Top 9 lists for 18 different pitching stat categories - and not one of them is for Complete Games.

I'll point out that pro baseball was actually played prior to Y2K, and in several bygone eras the complete game was a relatively common occurrence. (Yes, that's true!) So OOTP's leaderboards and statistical reports should reflect that, IMO.
