"Unable to load world template file"

I recently got a new laptop so I installed OOTP 18 from steam onto my new laptop. I went to start up a new game and got this error

I tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it but it just gives me that error every time. Is there anything I can do to fix this or am I screwed?

Try this:

Open the game settings dialog on main screen -> troubleshooting tab -> "open customizable data folder" -> navigate to the database folder -> delete the entire database folder

Then restart your computer and try reinstalling the game again. That should do the trick.
