A possible stupid question before I buy

Is there historical play like in OOTP? I always enjoy starting ten or so years in the past and building. I would like to start playing in the mid 90's when I followed hockey closer. If it does have the historical replay, are the rosters and players actual like in OOTP. Thank you

Yes it definitely does have historical play similar to OOTP. You could start in the 90s or any year back as far as the mid 1930s.
