Very odd results
Hey so I have a very weird question. So I'm playing a 2017 standard game. It was the first serious game I started playing after the opening day roster update. Anyway, a few weeks after that I see on the forums about the new "default" LTMs and that if you wanted to use them without restarting you needed to copy it in yourself. So at the end of the 2017 I do this.
Fast forward to the 2018 season. I'm noticing that my league is severely lacking offense. Like, dead ball era levels of ERAs, just with modern levels of HRs. League ERAs were over a run less, and league batting averages were 40 points less. So I check my LTMs, and I noticed a few typos, most notibly hits, where the modifier was .670 instead of .970. I correct this, thinking I've solved the problem, and play my next game. And then all heck breaks loose. The scores for the day are crazy: 20-19, 28-25, 25-12, 41-29 (which included a 22-run 9th), 20-3, and 22-5, to name a few. Is this happening because i adjusted the LtMs mid-season and the game is trying to "catch up" to the rate and things will return to normal in a day or two, or did I royally screw up the save? |

What LTM did you change? Changing something by that much would be significant. I only change something by a few hundreds of points. I usually keep my LTM's around
Hits - 9.600 - 1.010 Doubles - 1.060 - 1.110 Triples - 9.800 - 1.020 HR's - 1.000 - 1.090 (this game is homer prone vs years past) Walks - 1.00 - 9.700 HBP - .900 - 9.50 (This one is high through the minors as well) I usually dont touch pitching Also, go down to where it says passed balls and wild pitches. I usually set those to about.600. I once got to a new year, noticed runs were high and that my passed ball modifier was changed to 3.000. There were like 10 a game leading to tons of runs. |

What are your LTM's now? Can you maybe post a screenshot?
Anything that's off there can be fixed, so you probably didn't screw up the save too badly, though unless you restore from the auto-save you'll still have that one crazy day of offense in your league's history!

Looks like the issue is a typo with your BABIP setting.
The decimal is in the wrong place. It should look like this: '.303' not '303.000' How it's set now means that every time a hitter makes contact, they will get a hit! The only outs in those games probably came from strikeouts or baserunners being thrown out!
