POW (News Report) Bug

I guess we can consider this somewhat minor. Afterall, it makes
no difference on the game. But just so its noticed:

The AL Player of the Week Award was given to Greg Maddux

but he isn't even in the AL. The report says he plays for the Royals

when he is actually on my Braves roster. Ibanez of the Royals

was given the real player of the week award and he is on the

Royals.

and no..there isn't another Greg Maddux in my league, and he did preform with those numbers (the shutout, and 2-0)

and the quicklink sends to his correct player card

I saw a ton of that in OOTP4. Haven't played a lot of OOTP5 yet (still setting up my new fictional league) but I was hoping it woul be fixed.

I noticed that alot as well. I tried uninstalling and reinstall, but the problem still exists.

Just getting ready to report this again in OOTP5 after the week ended in league play today. Two American Players of the week, one of which was actually in the NL. And the NL player was listed in the news as playing for the same team the AL player did. Of course this was not the case. Headlines wrong. Agree, minor problem but one that has appeared now in at least two versions.
