Question about creating leagues and drafts based on league rep.
So I'm having some trouble. I'm attempting to create a fictional multi-league world where each league is based in a different country. Now obviously the quality of players that come out of each of those countries is different, but I want to make it so when the teams get their first bout of fictional players and the first players in the draft are created their ability and potential match the places their coming from. Same for the next couple of drafts, I don't want an influx of Major league quality players in a draft that is pulling players from freaking Belarus.
Any advice on how to set this up will be greatly appreciated. |

PCMs, PCMs, PCMs. read up on player creation modifiers. 1.0 across the board is major league talent. Adjust down for lesser quality players in other leagues. You should load all the international leagues and see how their pcm's are built to get a good idea. That is what drives player talent. League rep I think has to do if the player is willing to play there during free agency and I'm not quite sure what nation baseball quality is supposed to do exactly. I think that's more for the odds of where the player comes from if you don't set anything up in the draft origin settings.

Would feeder FAs respond the same way? For example, if I had a general feeder system where major and independent leagues got talent from, would the higher potential HS and college talent sign with the majors, while the lesser talent went to the independents? |

I have a setup like that and I notice that the feeder talent on the low end of the spectrum that doesn't get drafted does get picked up by the indy leagues. They also pick up the minor league washouts and once in a while an MLB has-been. I have it setup that they in no way compete with the major leagues.
