Online League - Trading Players

Hello,

I have an online league with 6 human controlled teams (MLB format). Why is it that only the commissioner can shop players and offer trades etc?

Is there a way around this, other than having everyone just sign in as the commissioner? Seems kind of odd, unfair, weird, and whatever else you'd call it. Or maybe there's a trade utility/tool/mod out there?

What is one to do if you cannot trade and shop players? I really don't understand why everyone can't have that feature.

because he is the commish...duh

the vast majority of onlineleagues, i believe, have all teams filled with humans and even if a team is temporarily open it is not allowed to trade with the ai.

why? because AI can be abused.

IF you have such rules, i would assume that the commish will not use anything that the others arent privy to. but that requires trust. then again, i hope you have chosen a commish you can trust or the onlineleague experience will be a short one.

It's a group of friends. Trust isn't the issue here. Lack of features is. I get that AI could be 'abused' but there's things we can do, ie limit the number of trades per season etc.

What is one to do in a solo game? Never trade or shop players because the AI is that bad? I don't think that's a good reason to force disable features on everyone but the commissioner.

I have been here for 10 years and I cannot remember anyone else posting about this. I would try a post in the big forums or check to see if you can get it in a suggestions forum. You may find other people who have the same problem.
I am pretty sure I agree that it should be on. I do not think you will get the traffic or support if you keep you post in this forum.
