Financial Projections
Setting up my league and it seems the financial projections are messed up.
I am trying to setup a structure with the top league and each subsequent league just a little below the next. I setup the major league just fine. Then the next league I made just a slight change to the attendance (1K fewer on average)... but each league only plays 30 games in a season so that would come out to 15K fewer fans for their home games (with $5 baseline ticket price that is $75K total difference). I lowered all of the baseline salaries and the player development budget. Then when I reset the prediction it showed the teams would be losing about 300K on average. So then I lowered the player development budget by 100K and reset and not it says the teams would lose $400K on average. I made all of the revenue baselines exactly the same as the MLB level and it still says the same. MLB Projections Avg Revenue: 2,666,000 Avg Profit: 228,000 IL Projections: Avg Revenue: 1,465,500 Avg Profit: -501,000 Income National media: same Local contract: IL is 3,000 less Merchandise: IL is 10K less Average payroll seems reflected correctly but the average income doesn't seem to make sense. The range is 1.1 to 2.7; shouldn't the average be around 1.9? Must be something that I am missing. :-) Have 10 leagues to setup so I want to make sure they are viable before I start the game so I don't have a bunch of bankrupt teams. |
