Anybody playing DDS Pro Basketball and DDS College Basketball and how do you like it?

The 2017 versions are pretty good so far. Was stuck on the FastBreak series for a long time and refused to buy the DraftDay ones...but i finally found enough features i liked and bought the new versions. Havent played much but they seem much better and not many people have had crash/error troubles.

I will double that. I'm enjoying DDS Pro, however the lack of a manual is a drawback. You will need at least one training career to get the hang of what happens when.

I've been on the fence regarding DDS College Basketball...just can't muster up the energy to pull the trigger.

I have been having an eye on DDS Pro 2017 for a bit now, but I can't make myself buy it.

- There is next to no material of the game on Youtube, which has become for me what demos used to be. Make other people play the game and then judge their video material.

- There is barely any traffic on the forums at either Steam or at the publisher's site, hinting at an unloved fringe game that has little to no support.

- It's Wolverine Studios, and I have been badly burned by broken Wolverine games before. The last PureSim Baseball was broken top to bottom, I lost several leagues due to CTD's during the offseason and kinds of ****, and this cluster**** made me finally throw myself into OOTP's learning curve.

Not a hinderance for me: I know nothing about basketball. I didn't know anything about baseball when I started playing that either. All I know about basketball is that you can score one or two or three points depending on the color of your shoes and your shirt number.

Though generally lethargic, I can bite myself into things if I really want to (although it took three attempts to get to terms with then OOTP 12), but can anyone who has the game actually confirm that it runs solidly and does a good job as a manager game at all?

I try every basketball game and this game is still not as good as Fast break basketball 3 which is itself four years old now. And Fast Break basketball is a pretty spartan game that gets the bare basics right but does them well enough.

It is a goddamn shame we cannot get a basketball sim on the level of FM, EHM, OOTP or Motorsport Manager.

How is it that there is not a decent college basketball game on the market? They are either featureless, rarely updated, or god-awful ugly. And I agree with the comment on Wolverine games. I have way too many painful memories to give them another chance.

Hum. I don't know. I am very much torn on this. I don't mind the 20+ bucks, I bought bigger garbage for more money.

Well, I bought it. I have no idea what I'm doing. My Trail Blazers are 0-3 to start the season, losing to the Lakers, Spurs, and Suns, which when looking at the actual standings for the season hints at inept management.
