Game crashes a bunch

Hey guys, mostly enjoying the game, but I'm having this (admittedly vague) problem: the game crashes more than previous version ever have. It doesn't crash consistently in any one situation, but I feel like relatively often I click on something the game doesn't like, or am running a sim, and the game crashes to desktop. I have no idea why, and it didn't happen much on older versions, and (it feels like) more than on earlier patches. I'm running the OS X version on a fairly old Macbook Pro, for what it's worth. I appreciate this isn't a specific problem, but I just wanted to flag it as something that is happening most days now, rather than very occasionally on previous OOTPs.

Are other users having the same sort of problems? I'm curious to know.
