Trading with Foreign Leagues Too Easy?

It seems like in trading with foreign leagues (Japan, Korea, Mexico) they are willing to give away the farm for a pile of beans in 18. I offered a young SP that wasn't going to make my rotation and every Japanese team seemed to offer me one of their stars. (The Major League teams were offering me mid-level talent for this pitcher.)
I was negotiating with one of the Japanese teams on a trade I didn't think was quite fair, and for fun asked for their best SP, thinking I'd see what it would additionally take to get him. They just said, Sure. I threw in a few more prospects (they were rebuilding) but still feel like I've ripped off three or more Japanese GM's this offseason without trying. Anybody else seeing this? (I have trade difficulty set on Hard.)
