Still not able to unzip Online League Files

Still getting the unable to unzip league files when attempting to download our league files. It is finding the file as my friend and I are exchanging it manually. A 75 meg file for some reason is changed into a 2kb zip after running the "download league files" option in the online league menu in game. I have uploaded our .dat files to the ftp under the name zip_bug.zip. Thanks.

Have you guys patched your games? This issue was fixed 2 patches ago (18.2.36) for the 29 other guys in the league I run!

Yes, we are both running the latest version of the game. Even tried to run the import on a third computer thinking maybe it was something wrong with his machine and still received the error.

well, considering this issue was fixed for literally 100's if not thousands of online players, I have to believe it is an issue not related to a problem with the actual OOTP18 game its self. It is more likely an FTP setting issue or even an ISP issue. If your file is downloading as one that small, it sounds like something is corrupting the file or interrupting your download and you will never be able to unzip a corrupt or incomplete file.

We are not using an ftp at all. My friend and I are exchanging the online zip file manually through drop box and pasting it to the import export folder. The file is full size in the folder, but once the download league file option is run, the game gives the error unzipping file and it's only 2kb.

If your exchanging zip files you don't need to (and shouldn't) put them in the import/export folder, just manually extract them into your league folder (If no league folder exist in the zip) and into the save game folder if the League.lg folder does exist in the zip file.

one of you should be running the sim, the only file the person running the sim needs from the other person is the team_#.ootp (This file is small enough to email unzipped)

a typical exchange would look like this

If player A is the comish

Player A uploads league files
Player B downloads league files and unzips
Player B Makes changes to his team
Player B Exports team to file (it will put the team file in export/import folder)
Player B sends team file to Player A
Player A puts team file into his export/import folder and imports file to proper team

Player A (after making his changes, advances the files the designated number of days

rinse
lather
repeat

The only person who should ever have to unzip anything in this scenerio is the person NOT running the simulation.

Thanks, this worked much better. Still odd that the game cannot unzip it though when its manually placed in the folder.
