Roster set update?

From the patch notes:

"Updated MLB roster sets (need to create a new game for changes to apply)"

Any details on this one? What does this do? I wonder if I should start my game again.

if you want the updated rosters in your game - yes, you need to start a-new.
It means there are additions or corrections in the database that affects the roster.
