Ok, my understanding is that the 'Gold Glove Award' goes to the best player in every position on defense. The Platinum Glove Award goes to the best "OVERALL" defensive player for each league (AL and the NL for example).
How does OOTP determine the 'Defense Award' - Gold Glove or Platinum Glove? Second question; Using the custom award - is this an award the the 'HUMAN' player determines at the end, or is it game generated like the others? |

custom award is determined by you, the game doesn't know what you want the "custom" award to be determined by...
I usually make it an award for the best hitter in the league, since there is one for the pitcher, but the "MVP" can also be won by a pitcher. So this way I have best hitter, best pitcher, and best overall player. Custom award could totally be used for "platinum glove award", but you would have to look at the stats and determine the winner. Now I kind of wish we had the option for 2 custom awards... |
