Trades still occurring during World Series

So, I am running a fictional 24 team league with full feeder system.

I have the ML with a trade deadline at the default date, sometime in June. However when I sim, I am seeing numerous trades during the playoffs??? It kinda takes the focus off the playoffs in my opinion? Has anybody else seen this?

You can still have trades after the deadline but the players have to clear waivers and you can pull the trade if another team makes a claim. However I didn't know that also was allowed during the postseason.

Clearing waiver makes sense, but I have seen a bunch of trades, it just seems so frequent? In MLB maybe it is allowed but I don't think it happens a lot in postseason.

I am also seeing a lot of big trades right after the spring training. Happening way to often in my fictional and MLB files. I think trades probably need to be toned down a tad. I understand teams have different philosophies but big name trades right after spring training might be a little too early, I also understand the game does not see names just stats. Just my opinion.

Turn down trade frequency. Game > Game Settings > League Settings > Rules > Trade Rules.

I think trades probably need to be toned down a tad.
