PbP Speed in 3D

It seems the Play by Play text (in full detail) has become instant in 3D mode. Was this changed in the last patch? I liked it before when you could set it so line-by-line was shown as you saw the play on the field unfold, making it exciting to watch. Now I immediately see how the play ends which takes away from immersion. Maybe I'm missing something which can be checked or unchecked. Great game overall!

Is the pbp speed set to "instant" vs. "very fast" or "fast"

I'd be interested in knowing which PbP speed is timed to work with the 3D play on the field. My speed is set to normal and the 3D play is done waaaay before the PbP text is done.

Strange, it's the other way around for me. Have it on normal (but doesnt really matter because pbp is instant) and I see pbp before the 3D play is done. Maybe it's better after the new patch, have to try again tonight.

I prefer the detailed pbp over short, it gives me more information.

That doesn't sync up properly though. At least not on my machine.

It did on my system (laptop), not anymore though. I guess I'll go for short pbp as well now.

This is my experience, too... play is over long before the PBP text... just bought the game an hour ago... played two games out.

Really wish the audio was synched to the flight of the ball.

Sorry, the "Robbie the Robot" doing the PBP has a long way to go for me to use it.

Sorry, I'm a perfectionist and won't be happy until the audio is realistic and listenable.

However, the animation and audio is making some progress... was somewhat impressed with the animation... much better than previous versions... but neither is usable by me at this point in the development.

I'll just use the good old text mode and be happy... but still dream of realistic animation.

Still... OOTPB is an absolutely wonderful game... I'm sure OOTP18 will be just as good as OOTP17... and probably a little bit better.
