3D view with more field

I like to see more of the stadium, so I re-arranged my 3D view. Here it is, but I shrank the image to 50% so you won't have to scroll as much to see it all. In case others want to try it, I put the settings below.

Newcomers to the game may not realize that the widgets can be moved around. First you have to un-check the box that says "automatically set up game screen". If you mess around with it and want the default view back, all you have to do is re-check the box.

Beautiful. The 3D stadiums and all that are convincing me to purchase this. I usually purchase anyway but I've been busy lately. Love all these updated stadiums. Brings the immersion way up for me!

What is your PC's resolution? That determines how much room you have to move things around. How did you get the stadium default view so zoomed out? Did you modify the view in the stadium editor?

That looks fantastic...

One question, I'm not in front of the game, does one of the widgets show the out of town scoreboard? I'd want to include that when I copy your idea.

Yes, that is one of the available widgets.

You can drag and drop the widgets to any location that you want, or you can enter the coordinates for more precise positioning. Many widgets have multiple sizes.

Man the stadium pictures folks have posted so far are flat out incredible. If you have some free time and don't mind can you post a pic of Comerica?

Just managed to get this ground view behind the Catcher.

Martinez hits a fly ball (you should be able to see the ball mid-air)

What is the easiest way to set that angle in the editor? I tried but end up with a super zoomed park.

It took a bit of playing around. I found it was easiest to use the mouse (hold right or left and move it, you'll get the hang of it quickly). Then you can adjust with the cm and move degrees x,y,z and zoom to fine tune it (best to set small amounts on those drop down list numbers)

I tried to see if there is a save file of the saved camera view but I can't find one in the ootp folder, not even in the ballparks/models folders. Would be nice if they are there somewhere then we could upload different views we manage to find.

Really like this view to watch, it's surprisingly good, particularly when the ball is hit in the air. Just saw one hit out to right field and curve out towards the foul line.

Line drive in this one

I never mastered this. Are you in "global mode" in the editor when you set the angles? I never understood the difference between global, stadium, and camera target in the 3d editor.

I don't know if Markus or Matt could tell us or not but I think from the look of the last modifed dates in my ballpark/models/comerica park folder that the camera view is saved in comerica_park.ootp3d (or whatever park you're editing the camera on) I tried opening it in notepad but of course it was ineligible but I did see the names of my camera saved views in there.

If this is the right file maybe we could then make these views available for the community by uploading my file and any others people make for others to use?

Could someone from ootp confirm if that is so and if it is, then is it ok to upload and share them?

I was in global. The only difference I can see is some of the x,y,z button options are greyed out depending on what mode you select. The mouse moving works in all of them though. Also you can use the wheel to scroll forward and back

So I got home tonight and tried it, and I put in the same dimensions for the ballpark with the same widgets...and I think my screen is smaller because I can't comfortably line everything up so it displays the same as what you have.

So I'm wondering what type of window size you're working with as well as resolution. I'm using my laptop and the resolution I use is what is recommended for my computer which is 1920x1080. Any advice?

Also now that I've been configuring my screen the 3D movements seem to have stopped working.
