OOTP 18 Gold Master Version

Hi

If I buy the game today and get access to the Gold Master Version, how does that version differ to the actual game on release day? Is it the same game with maybe just an update on release day?

Believe there will be the same w/ a Patch on release, yes.

Yes, few patches to follow, one will include the updated MLB roster of all teams, same as the MLB league opening season which is important if you start your league because if you start now you will need to restart a new game for the updated rosters to work.

Thanks. I thought that would be the case. I have the week off work and I really want to play sooner rather than later. :-)

Thanks. Yeah I thought that would be the case. I would expect the AI to sort out the best lineups for the game anyway so I don't mind if the teams lineups aren't exactly like opening day.

I usually do a few trial runs to check out the new game. Usually historical, while I am waiting for opening day for MLB. I like to wait for actual rosters to begin my 2017 sim.
