OOTP5 has caused an unknown error in OOTP5.EXE.

Ok, I have unlicensed and relicensed the program while downloading a new version of OOTP from the main server (usa).

I have degragmented my computer. I have closed out everything but my speakers, I have done it all and the game still won't work.

Windows ME
255 Ram
20 GB HD
83% sys resources free
32 bit virtual memory
No PC card sockets are installed (message from my computer)
9.0 Direct X
INtel 82810E graphics controller
not sure of Sound card info
I do run off a cable modem, so I am always connected to the internet

OOTP4 worked on this same computer.

I KEEP SEEING:

OOTP5 has caused an <unknown> error in OOTP5.EXE.
OOTP5 will now close

Please don't make me spend more money on a crappy game like Diamond Mind Baseball. I need this AWESOME game to work somehow.

Even the new patch 5.01 doesn't help.
