game bug I guess I will never be able to play?

Starting to think I wasted my money on this game seeing as I cant even play it

Started a league with 1919 white sox. I get to opening day and it wont let me play. Tells me I have non roster invitees on the active roster that every player not on the secondary 40 man must be demoted. I don't even have a secondary 40 man roster . Can someone explain this to me so maybe one day I can actually play this game.

It's somewhere in your settings. You didn't waste your money. If you want Secondary Roster rules to be disabled, you must do it yourself at Game > Game Settings > League Settings > Roster Rules > next to "Secondary (40-Man) Roster Size enter "Rule Disabled".

this is coming from someone who has ... arguably too much confidence in what they think/learned/'know'... and not limited to ootp

(actually I know nothing about historical, but this will apply in a general sense.)

customizing anythign from default, and possibly even defaults for historicals:

even now, i still setup a league and typically make some setting change that totally screws up something else... even when it doesn't happen, I'm uneasy the first few sim-years and make a backup-backup opening day year 1 to set aside just i miss somethign big and need to start back at year 1.

Every league i make i sim out and make sure things are working properly. the odder you make somethign, the more you have to make sure it's proper. Expect problems, hope that there are none. even after you have played with most of the settings in various combinations...

still have a little humility, though. Jimmy V left out one thing you should do every day... have a self-deprecating moment. maybe right before that "cry," LoL!
