bad play in the 9th

not sure where else to post this...

bot 9th, 1 out, score tied... runner on third... batter grounds out to the SS & the SS throws to 1st for a routine out... except it's NOT a routine out, it's the bot of the 9th in a tie game w/ a runner on 3rd!!

definitely needs to be changed so the fielder would attempt to throw home or to 3rd... or at least look the runner back

Did you play the infield in? If the infield wasn't in chances are the runner scores easily on that play, and as there isn't much of a chance to cut the run off the SS takes the sure out. With the Infield In the SS would try to cut off the run, or the runner would hold off.
