warming up bull pen pitchers
I was wondering if it is even necessary to warm up pitchers in the bull pen on this game or can you just throw them in cold and have the same performance?

Depends on what your settings call for. You can disable the warmup rule if you want. I can't remember right now where the setting for that is, but I know you can do it.

If you have the warmup rule enabled, then you need to warm your pitchers up before bringing them in. If it's disabled, then you can bring them in cold.
Keep in mind, the AI does not use warmups, regardless if the rule is enabled or not, so the AI can always bring in cold relievers. |

If you want to stay on the same playing field as the AI (which I think is a good idea) then disable it

If you're playing with it on, then yes, it does make a difference. Higher chance of injury, first several pitches will not be as effective, etc.
