It happened again - lost World Series title
Why is this damn game on once a year save by default? I had this exact same thing happen to me last year, mentioned it on here, and still once a year by default. Every other console sports game saves your progress daily or weekly yet OOTP still continues to live in the stone age and cause you to waste hours of your time.
Yes, I know you can change it, but many don't think of it when starting up. You trust the game to have sufficient default settings. I imagine it is on once a year due to the somewhat lengthy time to save everything. This needs to be improved. Find a way to speed up the save as much as possible and have it set to once a month at default at worst. I don't know why the hell my game only crashed after I win a World Series but its damn irritating. Been playing for 3 days trying to build the '89 Rangers into contenders and finally win 107 games and the World Series in 1995 and it freaking crashes! Ugh. Makes me hate this game.

You can save daily. Just change the setting. Game/Settings/Auto-Save & Log Settings

Yeah, I know you can change it. I just hate that they default to one year and if you don't think about it (because who does when you're excited to start a new league) and it crashes, you're screwed
