My short list

A few things (some mentioned in other threads) that are a nuisance in 17 and a few versions before, that don't seem as though they'd be a huge thing to add/change:

1. Doubleheaders for 7 day lineups - allow us to set line-ups and SP for each game individually

2. BBN Stats - allow us to turn off those often repeating stories

3. At the very top of the screen where it shows the date and your record, it shows position in standings and GB if not in first. Please add GA if you're in first. When I'm doing a quick sim it would be nice to know if I'm 1 ahead of second or 6.

4. I'm playing historical with reserve rosters. When we make the World Series it tells me to fix my playoff roster, and it clears out my rotation and line-ups. No need for this. I'll probably adjust them, but why start from scratch?

5. Also with #4, in line-ups the option to have Manager/Coach just set line-ups (and not depth charts) doesn't work. When simming post season I prefer to have no depth charts set so that the AI doesn't sit a regular

1.) The ability to schedule regular season games between teams in Associations.

2.) Schedule Editor-The ability to schedule neutral site games and set start times for team's home games on their home page

3.)Double header Line-ups for 7 days

1) Spray charts for hitters. It would add an additional layer of immersion in my opinion, as you would really see some of the unique characteristics of different hitters.

2) Ranger charts for fielders. Again immersion. You could really visualize the difference between better and worse defenders.

Another minor, but annoying little thing.

When going to the 7 day line-up screen the default for the list of players should be by position, not alphabetical. It's baseball: SP-RP-C-1B-2B-3B-SS-LF-CF-RF is the only order that makes sense.

Depends on how's it's implemented. How, for example, would OOTP decide which national team a dual nationality player chooses to play on? Would it be programmed where the player in question would have a "Primary" and "Secondary" nationality? If so, what happens when the player isn't chosen to represent Nationality A in a tournament? Is he then defaulted to Nationality B?

I know FM does this successfully somehow. I just can't remember how.

I think FHM does this too (I'm not sure though). I feel like it'd work like you said with personality playing a factor. For example, if someone is primarily from a lesser country but is also eligible for a favorite, they'd choose their team based on their desire for win and loyalty (a loyal player is more likely to go to their primary nation while someone who wants to win would go for the favorite)
