Help with transactions

I just finished my 1960 season (congrats to the Yankees, 4-3 over Giants in WS) with out to many issues. Now I am heading into the off season and my question is this; if I am allowing historical trades to take place is there a way to stop selected ones? Case in point, I am controlling the Giants and DO NOT want to deal Andre Rogers for Alvin Dark whom the Giants acquired only to make him the manager (my job now, ha ha!) Can I block selected deals only?

I think if you block them you will undo your OOTP Time Continuum.
You could allow the trade and retire the player you receive or go in commissioner mode move the players back.

I was afraid it might be the case, not quite as elegant as the race of the platform but it will work. Thank you for your help.
