importing question

So before I import, can I just copy all of my almanac files from my saved game and store them somewhere else, then import my game to 17 and just paste those almanac files back into the new game folder without any corruption to the game?

i am not up on almanac stuff, but you should be able to answer the question yourself by what is available in the game.

is there a function to import what you are speaking of? if yes, then you must make sure the format of the data file is correct... also if the date is different, you may need to adjust "year" if it is a column... i believe all import/export options are in teh available actions drop down from League settigns, but and almanac import/export options are likely in the almanac section, too.

if you do have to adjust a year, make proper use of a spreadsheet. you make one little equation in an empty column subtract or add # of years difference (e.g. cell zz1="a1-30"), and fill down to the last row, it will sub 30 from each value in that A column (hint, don't use the mouse when highlighting massive # of rows or columns - the mouse is incredibly slow and inefficient.. it's for people that don't want to learn the right way, lol)... then copy that new column over the old year column of the exported data. delete the 'work' column you did the math in before tying to import back to the game.

it's possible to import something that won't quite work, so make sure to "copy all files" backup first. even rename that backup directory so you don't accidentally save over it while you import stuff.
