Totals from year, change to 2016? Everything else will follow.

Just remember that there are no 2016 modifiers in OOTP17 because the season had not been played when it was released. Might I suggest 2015? Also do you want relievers used as frequently as they were in 1960 or 2015? Starting pitchers to have 1960 durability or 2015 durability? Defensive shifts? Pinch hitting? There's a lot to consider.

Yes I mean 2015 sorry. Relievers and starting pitchers Relative to what's happening in 2015 in usage and durability

usage will be the strategy dropdown boxes on the left side.. take a screen shot of a newly creted default league from the year you want to transpose settings.. use that as your guide

anythign related, mimic it on your 1960 league. strategies, fielding etc... the other thing to worry about is the difference between the histocial player and distribution of 2016 players... the same LTM for fielding will not be the same result in your 1960 leange.

if the players have similar ratings and distribution, then no worries, the LTMs should translate... but if due to "1960" it expects 100errors and 2016 expects 50errors.. well yo ucan figure out the problem there... then add in any possible differences in how the players are rated and distribution. you'll have to keep an eye on the total regular season numbers and adjust on the fly.

.... if it doesn't have a Total associated with it, you may need to sim and adjust on the fly to hit the #'s you want - you'll still have up/down fluctuation, eventually you'll find a happy center.

When you have everythign set the first time... take a screenshot!!! if it changes it the following year, you may have to change it back yearly... make sure the Auto-change checkboxes in this area of settings are unchecked. no auto-import of strategies etc...

when an era changes, you will likely need that screenshot again... and may need to adjust any LTM not tied to a league total again, too.

There are no modifiers for 2016-15 or any other year that will work on 1960 league totals. Modifiers only work for the specific league and the league totals they are calculated for.

If you want modern results in a 1960 setting use 2016 league totals from baseball reference or 2015 league totals from the game and run autocalc the day before opening day. Doing that will modify the stat output based on the ratings distribution in your league. However you may be disappointed as a one-season stab at modification may not be as accurate as one would expect.

Do you have minor leagues? You should change league totals in them as well or you will have strange minor league stats.

Show your league history. It helps to see trends.
