QMJHL Quebec scouting bug

I'm GM in the QMJHL PtG v3.2.89 and my scouts cannot find any suitable players eligible for the QMJHL draft from the province of Quebec.

I get the first scouting report after one week which says no players were found. The scouting assignment is then cancelled and scout is idle.

The scouts are all based in in Quebec. Other regions work fine. This has been happening for a couple of seasons.

Hmm. Don't see anything obvious with the date or your settings that would cause that, and there should be plenty of draft-eligible QMJHL players. I'll do some more checking.

There are plenty of draft eligible players from Quebec. They show up in the draft but are all listed as E level scouting because none of my scouts could find them. It's odd because I can scout all the other regions just fine.

A couple more details that might help you out: I'm playing the Victoriaville Tigres. I can scout players from Quebec individually - ie. from the list of top draft draft eligible players, I can assign a scout to a player from Quebec midget or other leagues. It's only the area (Quebec) and league (QJHL) based assignments that don't work.

This was a problem for me as well in FHM2. The only way I could work around it was to scout them individually.

One more detail. I can set a scouting assign by birth year and it will work, but ticking the "draft eligible" box is the option that is not working.

I found a bit of leftover data in the QMJHL draft rules from a change quite a while back that might've been doing something, so I'm wondering if that's the cause. But, logically, it should've affected the draft itself, too. Going to have to have Malte check the code and see if it was something specific in the way the scouting filter was written (or something else entirely.)
