Controlling 2 Human Managers

A friend and I are both managers for separate teams, playing out the games batter-by-batter. When the two teams face one another, it seems like the player controls only display the pitcher (intentional walks, visit the mound, etc.) and the batter controls (sacrifice bunt, hit and run, etc.) is not accessible. Is there some way to switch this over so both of us can control the actions of our sides in these head-to-head games?
