Saving Boxscores… More Options
Currently, if you have a bunch of minor leagues and are interested in playoff boxscores, your options are to save all boxscores and end up with a ton of them, or to have to remember to adjust the setting before minor league playoffs start. And of course with a bunch of minor leagues, you'll have a several different playoff start dates, making it even less-manageable.
In Global Settings under Auto-Save & Log Settings, the Save Box Scores from... dropdown includes several options, including All Leagues, All Major Leagues, Human Leagues, Human Organizations, Human Teams, and None. Nice additions to this would be the following: 1) Playoffs-only for All Leagues 2) All Major Leagues, plus Playoffs-only for All other Leagues 3) All Major Leagues, plus when Game Recaps are generated for all other leagues “Playoffs” as defined above should also automatically include saving the box score from any one-game playoff, even though it is actually/technincally part of the regular season. (It might even be cool if you had the option to select saving boxscores for specific leagues. I'm thinking of when you have umpteen minor leagues in your game, you may want boxscores from your top minor-league level (Triple-A), but not all of the lower-levels.) Along these lines, an additional cool addition would be if the Generate Game Recaps for... dropdown included options similar to #'s 1 and 2 above. |
