OOTP 5, Fantasy Sim League

All,

I've just decided to start a on-line league after many. many hours of testing to ensure I can handle the requirements.

League points:

8-12 team league to start with expansion possible in the future
Only Real MLB Teams may be used
50 round initial draft
Current MLB Players used (not every player with be in the first season, but over the course of drafts, all MLB players will be brought in)
Salary Cap

No web site established yet, I will work on it this evening, in the meanwhile you can visit the message board at http://oaklandgm.hyperboards.com/index.cgi scroll down to the bottom as the upper portion belongs to the football league.

If this interests you, claim your team under the 'general talk' board. Please include full name, e-mail and team selection (make sure that team has not been selected already). If more than 12 teams apply, I may consider increasing the size of the league.

Also, if you have suggestions/ideas that could make this league better, include it.

Yes, great now, but in a matter of years it will be but a fading memory and still paying off bloated contracts.

This is in no way meant as an actual analysis of the league in question. It is meant to be an actual analysis of the Oakland Raider organization. Thank you.

While I agree with you somewhat, I could never turn my back on Oakland. I've been a fan since a kid, and I live in New York. I saw a Raiders game live (my only time) in Buffalo 3 or 4 years ago. I loved watching the game, the fist fights in the stadium added to the flavor. But Oakland was hammered that day, losing 41-14. I still was a Raider fan. Basically what I'm saying, if your a true fan you will stick with your team through thick and thin. I know that they may be in financial trouble in the coming years, but they are my team. OK, I'll quit rambling, just wasting time at work.
