how to determine which schedule file is being used

If you are in the middle of the season - and thus many of the schedule settings on the options page are not available, and therefore the name of the schedule isn't visible - is there any other way to determine what schedule is being used? For example, I might be a couple of days into a season and I might have forgotten if I'm using an "as scheduled" or an "as played," and knowing that might determine whether I want to allow rainouts or not.

Thanks in advance.

Please quantify what you mean here...

Let's say I'm two days into a historical sim MLB season. Therefore, when I go to the League Settings | Options page, the filename of the schedule in use is not shown. However, if I'm in the preseason (for example), and go the same page, I can see various options for the schedule (number of games per team, season start date, force start on..., schedule balance, etc.). These options are - understandably - not available once you start your season, and they are therefore not visible during the season. What also disappears, though, is an item that lists the schedule file that is in use. For example, in a 1944 MLB league that happens to be in the pre-season, the "Schedule loaded from file" shows that major_league_ml_c_1944.lsdl is the one in play.

So, given that, I'm wondering - if I'm two days into the season - if there is some other way to determine what schedule is in play.

To specifically address what you bolded, using 1974 as an example, my understanding is as follows:

- major_league_ml_c_1974.lsdl would include the schedule as it was originally drawn up. No rainouts, postponements, cancelled games and rescheduled games would be included.

- major_league_ml_c_1974_ap.lsdl would be the schedule as it was actually played, including rainouts & postponements, and rescheduled games (although OOTP does not specify, for example, that a rainout from the "as played" schedule file is actually a rainout; it just schedules the games as they were played).

AFAIK there is no way to gather that info once you've started your season.

Go League options/options/edit league schedule/available actions/export to file. Edit the file name, save it, and you can see a copy of the schedule currently in use in game.

You can also report grid and report evaluation under Available actions should you want to see more detail.

That'll do it. Thanks
